I Need to Stop Talking About Xat…

This is your Head General speaking.. er, typing.  Lately I’ve been going off on all these armies trying to improve their chat.  In retrospect ACP has the most viewed army chat of all the armies.  Many other armies tend to hang out at our chat.  It’s no surprise that ACP is a welcoming community to others.  Even with our magnificent chatbox there still will be issues.  Including that activity of it.  Yesterday and the day before was a very slow day for us.  We weren’t really showing that charisma I know and love.  Let’s try to fix that, shall we?

(At this point my internet shuts down.  I have to take six hours to fix it, an important call to my internet provider, and then watch Survivor and call it a night.)

A way to make our chat more active, or to pick out whom we know is in ACP and whom is not, is getting everybody to have ACP somewhere in their name.  Or you could have a picture that looks like your from ACP (the uniform); whatever suits you.  First, click on your name.  Once you click your name you are allowed to change your name to what you want it to look like.  Second, make it as cool as you think you can make!  Don’t make it too over the top though.  If you’re a corporal here would be a good example, “Soldier123♣ACP..Corporal♣ACP..Forever!“  Looks pretty legit, right?  In my opinion, the simpler the better.

Secondly, following the rules will give you a good public name and people will start to respect you.  It’s true — ACP has many rules; more than others.  Though most of our rules are common sense and following them will help you in your future.  In total ACP has nine rules that you must follow at all times.  If you don’t you might even get banned from the chatbox for however long the banner feels is necessary.  The rules are relaxed during the following times: Monday-Thursday: 10:30pm – 5am EST, Fri-Sun: 11 pm – 5 am EST.

Just try to be active and have fun.  You can get medals just for being active on chat.  Medals are what give you promotions.  Being on chat and talking to others has always been accepted as showing you’re ready for a promotion.  Being on chat shows the owners that you are active and care about ACP.  For a big army like us, it is sometimes hard to track you all down and private chat you when we need you.  Just try your best to be online and have fun.  Don’t look at it as a chore; look at is as more time to spend with friends.
